About
Electronic music made with an indie-rock sensibility — songwriting, live instrumentation and a band identity over DJ-centric production. It crystallized in the 2000s through Warp, Ghostly and Sub Pop-adjacent acts like the Postal Service, Caribou, M83 and Passion Pit, and continues in the Kasbo and Slow Magic end of the festival circuit.
